    Case 31790: How, Jotham, Barre, 1809.

    Barre, 4 Mar 1809: "It being inconvenient to me to administer on the Estate of Jotham How Late of Barre Deceased I Hereby Signify the Same to your Honor and Request that Francies How may be appointed to that trust." Priscilla How.
    Estate insolvent, sued over claim rejected by commissioners, and on "first Tuesday in February Anno Domini 1812" [4 Feb 1812] with balance remaining of $11.13, "being too inconsiderable to distribute among the creditors", the judge awarded this amount to the widow "to enable her to uphold life".
