↑Source:Hobart, Edgar. Hobart Genealogy : The Descendants of Edmund Hobart of Hingham, Mass, p. 26, reports the birth of this Josiah as 9 Jul 1720. This (or any) birth record has not been found, but this date is before the marriage (which this source does not bother to give the date for), so almost certainly an error of some kind. It is suspected that if some record was seen, it was misread, presumably being 1726.
