[Note regarding spelling: the label on the packet is "Childs", the name at the top of the will and a few others are clearly Child, other spellings are ambiguous (letter d ends up in the air but small mark that looks like tail of d but could be s?) The purpose of this tail when the letter ends up in the air is presumed to be 's' but may just be stylistic given that Child (without s or any mark) is definitively used sometimes?]

  4.   Josiah apparently moved around a lot during his life, which makes it difficult to follow. The Child Genealogy says the parents resided in Worcester. Bond, p. 740, says all the children were born in the west precinct of Watertown [later Waltham] and they were dismissed to Worcester 13 Jan 1733-4. In the marriage record, Josiah is described "of Rutland", and his brother Thomas is found there as well, but he doesn't appear to have lived there after his marriage. Reed describes him as "a Childs of Framingham" and that is where the births of several [1755-1775, probably all?] of their children seem to be born. But no death records...
