  3. One cannot help but laugh at secondary sources sometimes. Source:Cutter, William Richard. Genealogical and Personal Memoirs Relating to the Families of Boston and Eastern Massachusetts, Vol. 1, p. 186, says Joshua's first wife d. 10 Apr 1691 (which is listed in his probate right after it says that he died 20 Mar 1690/91, i.e., before her), and then Cutter says he married a second wife Mary ---. Clearly this is wrong. It says sons Joshua and Anthony were twins even though Newbury VRs clearly give their births two years apart.
