JOHSUA DOW, JR., born in Avon, March 9, 1830; died March 21, 1868; married May 11, 1852, Martha E. Webster of Hooksett, N. H. His widow married, second, Calvin Wyman of East Chelmsford, Mass. He lived in Lowell, Mass., and opened a restaurant. (One record gives his marriage Dec. 31, 1850.)
