Mrs. Josephine Garber died at her home in Victor Sunday morning at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 11 days. She was born in Vermont May 16, 1851, and at the age of 16 years moved to Tomah, Wis. Her maiden name was Josephine Wood and she was married In 1874 to Samuel Garber. To this union nine children were born and two children were adopted. Three daughters, one son and her husband preceded her In death. She is survived by four daughters and three sons, who are Gertrude, Marjory and Ray Garber of Victor, Walter Garber of Deer Lodge, George Garber of Marquis, Wash., Mrs. Ernest Hlghsell of Luvoy, Wyo., and Mrs. E. M. Lytle of Mason, Wis., besides two sisters and three brothers. The funeral was held Wednesday at her home, Rev, Livingston officiating, and the body left on the afternoon train for interment at Tomab, Wis., being accompanied by Ray Garber.
