5. Dempsey Bynum (1878-1950) son of Andrew and Lettie, was married three times. His first wife was Elsie Hopper, who died in 1905, a year after their marriage. In 1912 he married Lyda Nimon. After the death of his second wife he married Josie Lowry descendant of both John Bynum, trunk of the tree, and his sister, Rebecca Bynum Glover, Josie's grandparents being Catheriine Reneau and George G. Bynum). Dempsey and Josie had three children: Dempsey B., Jr., Doris and Adrian.
