    [Note: sic! Clearly if Joseph died in the year given, he was age 1, and not old enough to marry. However, evidence is that he did marry in 1776 and had a daughter in 1777 before his wife remarried in 1783. It is barely possible that he died 31 Dec 1776, based on his daughter's birth, which may account for a misreading of 1756? In any event, it appears the year is completely wrong.]
