Funeral services for Joseph June Wisman Jr., 88, of Lanesville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lanesville, with burial in the church cemetery. He died Friday, March 25, 2011.
He retired from Bruce Fox Inc. after 42 years of dedicated service, and was a World War II Navy veteran.
Survivors include his children, Diane Dukes and her husband, Bill, of Floyds Knobs, Donnie Wisman and his wife, Stacy, of Lanesville, and Eugene Wisman and his wife, Jane Summers, of New Albany; a stepdaughter, Candy Stewart and her husband, Herbie, of Elizabeth; five grandchildren and six beloved great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Hazel Van Winkle, and after her death, his wife, Lois Walther Clubb.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the caring, loving staff and many friends at Azalea Hills Assisted Living. He will be missed by his many friends there, especially the boys at the Early Morning Coffee Club.
Visitation at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday.
