Facts and Events
Name Joseph Webb
Gender Male
Birth[1][3] Abt 1844 Tennessee, United States
Military[3] From 10 May 1862 to 25 Sep 1864 Union: 6th Infantry Tennessee
Death[3][4] 25 Sep 1864 Andersonville, Sumter, Georgia, United States

Note: It is not certain that the Joseph Webb who died 25 Sep 1864 as a POW is the same Joseph Webb who was the son of James Webb and the step-son of Sarah (Hill) Webb. However, the other 2 Joseph Webb's of about the same age in Tennessee in the 1850 census (both living in Anderson County) appear to be accounted for after 1864. It is also a better fit than the Joseph Webb, born about 1838, who married Margaret Hicks, as many trees suggest.
