December 4, 1699, Governor Blake directed a warrant of appraisement of the estate of Joseph Ward to Edward Loughton, David Maybank, George Bedon, Sr., Francis Fidling and William Nowell, at the same time granting Lydia Young letters of administration on the said estate.
