From the History of Butler Co, he was first a foreman for G.W. Johnson Limestone Co at Hillsville, then an assistant to the general superintendant at Sharon Coal and Limestone at North Liberty for 12 years. Started the Slippery Rock Motor Co in Sept. 1926.
