    Bio: JOHN P. SEDLAK, aged 87 years, dearly beloved husband for 63 years to Dorothy M. (nee Bork), loving father of Jeff (wife Anita), Jan, Judy Schumacher, Jack (wife Barbara) and June Mooney (husband Bill), cherished grandfather of Charles, Ben and Carrie Sedlak, John, Jenny, Christopher, Megan, Molly and Mikey Schumacher, and Sarah and Laura Sedlak, great-grandfather of Gracie, Norah and Jack, devoted son of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Marous), dear brother of Joseph, Charles and the late James, fond uncle and great-uncle.

    John was a United States Army Veteran, and was very proud of receiving The Presidential Unit Citation for Extraordinary Heroism to the 222nd Infantry Regiment shown during the Battle of the Bulge.

    Contributions in memory of John may be made to the Carmelite Nuns, 3176 Fairmount Blvd., Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118; or to the Ursuline Nuns, 2600 Lander Rd., Pepper Pike, Ohio 44124. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, April 15, 2013 at Gesu Catholic Church, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Heights (44118) at 10:30 AM. Entombment following in All Saints Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of John at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) on SUNDAY from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.
