Facts and Events
1837-03-16 New Hampshire Sentinel: Executor's Notice - The subscriber hereby gives public notice to all concerned, that he has been duly appointed by the Judge of Probate for the County of Cheshire, Executor on the last will and testament of JOSEPH ROLLINS, late of Dublin, in said County, deceased, and has taken upon himself that trust, by giving bonds as the law directs. He therefore requests all persons who are indebted to the estate of the said JOSEPH ROLLINS, to make immediate payment; and those who have any demands against the same, to exhibit them for settlement. RICHARD STRONG, Executor, Dublin, March 7, 1837. 1837-12-21 New Hampshire Sentinel: STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, Cheshire. To the Heirs at Law of the Estate of JOSEPH ROLLINS, late of Dublin, in the said County, deceased, testate, and to all others interested therein, Greeting. You are hereby notified that RICHARD STRONG, Executor of the last Will and Testament of the said deceased, will exhibit his accounts of the administration of said estate, at a Court of Probate to be holden at Keene, in and for said County, on the first Tuesday of January next, at which time and place you may appear, and shew cause, if any you have, why the accounts of the said Executor ought not to be allowed. And notice is hereby given that the said Executor will present his private claim against said estate for allowance at said Court, it being an account amounting to the sum of one hundred and five dollars. And it is ordered, that the said Executor cause all concerned to be notified of the foregoing Citation, by publishing the same, with this Order three weeks sucessively in the New Hampshire Sentinel, printed at Keene, the last publication whereof to be prior to the holding of said Court. Given at Keene, in said County this fifth day of December, Anno Domini 1837. By order of the Judge of Probate, Elijah Sawyer, Reg'r. [Although Joseph's son-in-law was Richard Strong, this Richard, because of the year, is probably grandson.] References
