Joseph represented Killingly in the General Assembly of 1726, again in 1728 and for 5 consecutive years. Joseph bequeathed 20 pounds to each to his two sons, 100 pounds to Judith Leavens, his daughter. Buried in the grave yard of Killingly (now Putnam) beside Judith, the wife of his youth. Will dated Sepember 15 1762. Offered for examination November 12 1773.
