    [Assumed to be 1693/94 based on death of father sometime before his probate was opened 3 Oct 1695, and room must be allowed for brother Abiah to be born sometime after Joseph. The absolute latest Abiah could be born is about June 1696.]

    which given the death of the father in 1695, one would surmise is not a birth record, but a death record.
