"Mr. Joseph H. Graves died at his home corner of Front and Glover streets, Tuesday afternoon after a long illness at the age of sixty-three years. He was a veteran of the Civil War and served in Company C, Twenty-seventh Massachusetts Unattached Regiment, in command of Captain Samuel C. Graves. He was for a number of years an engineer in the employ of the Boston Globe".
