J.S. Granger was a womanizer and a forger, "a rake, a conman and areal jerk". He forged Marjorie Kerr's name on bonds she had inheritedand stole her money. Marjorie finally realized how bad he was anddivorced him during the depression while she was pregnant with TerryGranger (Tom Dyckman). Barbara McCormick heard J.S. Granger moved to Florida, remarried, had6 more children and has since died.

As his SSN was issued in Michigan, he married Marjorie Kerr there(assumed), it is possible he was born in Michigan.

Joe's physician in Florida prior to his death was H.M. Rogers, M.D. of500 Florida Federal Building, St. Petersburg, Florida 33701. He sawhim from Dec 15, 1969 until his death on Feb. 5, 1978. Dr. Rogers lastsaw Joe alive on Feb 5, 1978 but did not view the body after Joe'sdeath. This according to Joe's death certificate.
