    Joseph H. Givens, 83 years of age, died last Tuesday morning, Feb. 24, 1914 at 9 o'clock at the home of his son, J.D. Givens, at Millville, Fla., after suffering several days with pneumonia. Mr. Givens was born in Spartanburg, N.C. on Feb 10, 1832, but moved to Alabama in his young days and spent most of his time there until a short time before his death.
