    9 Jun 1806: Petition of Sally Barrett that "It not being in my power to administer on the Estate of my late husband, Joseph M. Barrett, late of Charlestown in the county of Middlesex, bricklayer, deceased", requests Mr. Liberty Wellington of said Charlestown, bricklayer.
    22 Apr 1806 (Ashby): Petiton of Benj'a Barrett that "It not being in my power to administer on the Estate of my son Joseph M Barrett, late of Charlestown in the County of Middlesex Bricklayer deceased, nor in the power of my only son Benj'a Barrett Jun", consent to Mr Liberty Wellington of said Charlestown bricklayer.
    26 Aug 1806: Memorial of Liberty Wellington of Charlestown in said County Bricklayer that "Joseph Merriam Barrett late of said Charlestown Bricklayer, within one year last past died intestate ... leaving a widow and father and brother, who decline accepting the trust of administration of said estate, and have requested your Memorialist ... your Memorialist is the friend of said intestate.."
