    Phebe married Jonathan Thurston of Newport, born in 1689; died at Newport 30(13) April 1749; son of Edward and Susanna (Jeffries or Jefferay) Thurston, Edward being the first Thurston in the Colony of Rhode Island. Following Phebe's death, Jonathan married second 26 August 1736 Mehitable Claghorn, and there were five children of that marriage.
