Witnesses: Stephen Herrington & Daniel Sunderlin. [Exeter Land p. 58] -22 Dec 1772 Jonathan Shearman of Cornwallis, Nova Scotia, yeoman, for 625 Spanish milled silver dollars to Isaac Browning of North Kingstown, yeoman, 68 acres bounded: highway, John Almey, Jonathan Sherman. Witnesses: Wm Hammond, Benoni Albro. [Exeter Land pp. 230-231] -8 Dec 1772 Jonathan Shearman of Cornwallis, Nova Scotia, yeoman, for 300 Spanish milled silver dollars to William Potter, of South Kingstown, Esqr. and another 500 Spanish milled silver dollars for a certain mortgage to be paid 9 May 1769 100 acres with dwelling house bounded: highway, Jonathan Shearman of South Kingstown, grantor, purchased of Joseph Shearman, Daniel Weeden.
