  6.   Source:Allred, Marilyn. Town of Warwick, Franklin County, Massachusetts, Genealogical Records 1739-1900, Births, Marriages,, p. 247, shows the Jonathan Shepardson of Cumberland marrying Nancy Joseph (with the children born to Jonathan Shepardson of Royalston and his wife Nancy). It is obvious from the various census records that it was Jonathan Shepardson of Royalston, he having a wife named Nancy. But Allred was apparently fooled by the death of Jonathan Shepardson of Cumberland being in Warwick, even though his death record indicated he lived in Rhode Island and the various records in Rhode Island show his wife was not named Nancy.
