"1. 3. 9. 5. Jonathan Huntington, born in Norwich, Conn., November 4, 1719, and married, November 17, 1746, Eunice Lathrop. He was a religious man, and prominent in the organization of the sixth ecclesiastical society of Norwich. He united with the infant church in 1760, and was for years very active in its affairs." … He was the chairman of the building committee, for the first church built in the new society, in 1760. He died in Norwich, August 9, 1801; and his wife, in May, 1803, in the seventy-eighth year of her age."
