  2. ↑ According to Source:Kennedy, Mabel Stockwell. Stockwell Genealogy, Jonas was "AE 62 yrs" when he d. 23 Nov 1812, yet his birth is given as "1756/57"? The only apparent explanation, "This tombstone information is incorrect. Ae at death approximately 56 yrs." The birth isn't known, but we're correcting tombstones? Very suspicious. A sister of Daniel's is listed bapt. [not born] 1750 and another bapt. in 1755, and the Sutton VRs show those baptisms with no mention of Jonas. All of which does not explain why the birth date is estimated so far off from the age at death when he could easily have been born 1751/52 timeframe and be a much better fit?
