Amarillo Globe-News (TX) - August 2, 2002 Deceased Name: Johnny Alton Wariner Johnny Alton Wariner, 58, of Lefors died Monday, July 29, 2002. Services will be at 10 a.m. in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel in Pampa. Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors.


Amarillo Globe-News (TX) - July 31, 2002 Deceased Name: Johnny Alton Wariner LEFORS - Johnny Alton Wariner, 58, died Monday, July 29, 2002.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel in Pampa with Paul Nachtigall of Highland Baptist Church of Pampa and the Rev. Lewis Ellis, pastor of First Baptist Church of Lefors officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery in Lefors.

Mr. Wariner graduated from radiology school at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas in 1965. He was a radiologist for Family Medical Center for the past five years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; a son, Jamie Wariner of Pampa; two daughters, Lisa Heider of Lefors and Melissa "Missy" Snapp of Pampa; a sister, Bobbye Combs of Pampa; two brothers, James Wariner and Jerry Wariner, both of Liberal, Kan.; and eight grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
