John Benjamin Quade, 67-years old, life long resident of rural Mt. Vernon, died Friday in St. Vincent's hospital at Monett. He had been a patient one week.
Mr. Quade was born December 5, 1893, at the farm home where he lived at the time of his death.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Helen Quade, four daughters, Mrs. Hulda Hamm of Joplin, Mrs. Freda Birner of Tulsa, Mrs. Doris Faulkenberry of Garden Grove, California, and Mrs. Helen Kightlinger of Northfield, Illinois; three sons, Ferdinand Quade of rural Verona, Hubert Quade of rural Carthage and Martin Quade of Mundelein, Illinois; one sister, Mrs. Martin Krueger of rural Monett; one brother, Gust Quade of rural Monett and twenty-four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning in the Trinity Lutheran church at Freistatt. The Rev. J. W. Shelling will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of H. D. Fossett Funeral Home.
The body will be at the church from 2 o'clock Sunday until the service hour.
