    John Adam Young, 70, died suddenly Monday afternoon about 3:30 o'clock when he suffered a heart attack while walking along Allen street, near Maple. Mr. Young fell to the ground and died before assistance could be obtained.

    The decedent was born in Wabash July 11, 1875 to Michael and Fredricka (Hipskind) Young. He was married to Carrie Ulshafer Dec. 23, 1905. For many years he was employed by the Pioneer Hat company and then later worked for the Northern Indiana Power company for 24 years.

    Survivors include the widow, one son, Rolland Young, Wabash, two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Forman, Peru, and Mrs. C.M. Follis, Detroit, Mich., the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Mary Strickler, Kalamazoo, Mich., Joe Young, Pasadena, Calif., Fred Young, Indianapolis, Theodore, August and Mrs. Earl Snavely, Wabash, and two grandchildren. He was a member of the St. Matthew's Evangelical church and of the Moose lodge.

    The body has been taken to the Jones Funeral home where friends may call and where services will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock. The Rev. H. J. Weber will officiate and burial will be in Falls cemetery.
