Possible child of Thomas and Alice Wilbore, "born probably in Colchester": John Wilbore of Colchester, born, say 1502, married Alice Smith, sister of Edward and Robert Smith, all formerly of Hadleigh, Suffolk. He owned Le stone house in 1535. "He is generally given as John Wilbore, Junior, tayler, but was named as wool draper in the court rolls of 1529." - It is not clear if he was identified as Junior in this mention - if not, it might have been an older John Wilbore (not necessarily his father).

"According to the Colchester oath book ... John Wylbore, woolen draper, a burgess, in 1528-9, was born in [Royston, West Riding of Yorkshire] ..."
If this is the same mention of John Wilbore, woolen draper in 1529, as mentioned on page 113:95, then it doesn't seem to be John Wilbore, Jr. This means that John Wilbore, Jr., might have been born later than 1505.
- ↑ Birth year estimated as 1505 based on being named as a wool draper in 1529 (if the reference was to him, and not to an older John Wilbore), and the estimated birth years of his possible siblings. However, he might not have been their sibling, or might have been a half-sibling, in which case he could have been born a bit earlier.
