Per e-mail Jackie, Mathias Keene was my grandmother's granddad. He married Nancy Vance,daughter of John Vance and Marinda McKinney. I actually have tax receipts paid by Mathias in W.V. 1868. Their son Wyatt was my grandma's dad and lived out his days on the west coast.
