"Tully, John, Saybrook, was bapt. at Horley, Co. Surrey, 27 ms. from London, 9 Sept. 1638, and the fam. tradit. proceeds to relate how his mo. brot. him here two or three yrs. at the d. of his f. in 1644, was propound, for freem. 1671, and m. 3 Jan. 1672, Mary, d. of William Beamond, or Beaman, had John, b. 3 Dec. 1672; Sarah, 9 Apr. 1674, d. at 18 yrs; William, 5 Jan. 1677; Lydia, 15 Mar. 1679; Mary, 10 Aug. 1681; Deborah, 24 Feb. 1684; Lucy, 22 Mar. 1687, d. at 5 yrs.; and Hepzibah, 22 Dec. 1689.
