!Ann Champe was the oldest child. October 4, 1745, John Glendenning sold to Ann Champe, two hundred and fifty acres on the Muddy Creek in Brunswick, Formerly Hanover Parish on the Rappahannock River. On November 14, 1745, Jane and Elizabeth Dinwiddie sold to Ann Champe, eldest daughter of of John and Jane Champe, One Hundred and thirty-six acres, Lamb's Creek Brunswick parish, formerly Hanover. Ann Champe married John Taliaferro and the two estates combined six hundred and twenty-six acres, which they named "Dissington". Lamb's Creek Plantation, Library of Virginia.
!Nicholas Taliaferro was married to Ann Taliaferro on Saturday the 3d November 1781, eleven o'clock, by the Reverend James Stevenson(37). My beloved wife, Ann Taliaferro, was the daughter of Colonel John(38) and Ann Taliaferro, of "Dissington", was born the 7th of April 1756 and departed this life the 3d February 1798.
