John Swicker/Swecker appears to be the likely husband of Catherine Shaver who married a "Mr. Swicker" 1792 in Rockingham County, Virginia [Virginia Marriage Records]. He is the only "Swicker/Sweker" in early Census records in Rockingham County and is found in the 1820 Census with a wife [born 1775 or before] and 4 sons and 4 daughters. Additional research may be needed.
