(Newbury) 5 July 1676; d. between 12 Feb. 1708/9, when he wrote his will, and 6 April 1708/9, when it was proved; … In his will, John Richardson of Boston, mariner, weak in body, gave to each of his three children £50 at the age of 21 or marriage, and to eldest son John £10 more if the estate would allow it; 'unto my dear wife Margaret Richardson in case she shall marry again … one third part of my Estate both real & personal the other Two thirds to be preserved for my children for the payment of ye above Legacies … my said Wife ye sole Executrix.' …"
