Reed, John … was from Rye, N. Y., when he settled in Norwalk, where he d. at a great age in 1730. John Reed, Sr., conveyed to son-in-law David Tuttle, 17 Oct. 1699. On 19 Dec. 1720, John Reed "Jr. the 1st", Thomas Reed, and David Tuttle, all of Norwalk, partitioned land laid out to their father, Mr. John Reed, Sr.
