John Price went back from Sussex Co., NJ to seafaring from Connecticut. A Capt. John Price was the captain of the "Sea Flower," from Rocky Hill Conn., to South Carolina in 1772. No "Sea flower" was listed from Connecticut during the Revolutionary War. John's wife, Esther was a widow before 1/7/1782.
John probably died at sea prior to Jan. 7, 1782, according to his father-in law's will on that date. As he was not listed as a survivor in his father's will in 1768, he probably had died before 1768.
