    Will of John Prescott of Lancaster yeoman, dated 27 Mar 1749, codicil 6 Oct 1749, proved 1 Nov 1749, names wife Dorathy Prescot; son John Prescot; son Silas Brigham; grandson Moses Sawyer; daughter Tabitha Brigham; Wife to be sole executrix. Codicil notes "my said wife being sence by the Providence of god deceased", names friend and neighbour Ebenezer Allen to be executor, and adds bequests, including grand daughter Sarah Sawyer.
    3 Nov 1749: Inventory of personal estate of John Prescot Late of Lancaster deceas'd: £784-13-12, by Bezaleel Sawyer, Thomas Tooker, Ebenez'r Allen Juner.
    14 May 1755: Account of Ebenezer Allen executor of John Prescott late of Lancaster yeoman, allowed.
