John b. Nov. 14, 1662, mar. 2 Jan 1696, Rebecca, dau. of Joseph Woodford, and had second wife Martha North. He lived in Farmington and died there in 1740, leaving children. His will is in the Hartford Probate Court. In his will John names the following children:

John's second wife was Martha Porter, the daughter of Thomas Porter and wife Sarah Hart of Farmington. Martha was born 1666, and died July 11, 1749. She married before Jan. 3, 1686/7 Joseph North who was bap. Mar. 18, 1659 and died 1731, son of John North. Martha mar. 2nd. Sergt. John Porter...
