    Not listed in town records, but mentioned by Jonathan's will, and in a deed of Benjamin dated 25 Apr 1696.

    Pierce Genealogy suggests John is either born between Jonathan and Joseph (along with Benjamin), or else he is the eldest child. There is no way to know which. Arbitrarily 1664 was selected to put him halfway between Jonathan and Benjamin. This was only done because so little other information about John is known and it would be hard to distinguish him from almost anybody else named John Pierce.
