    John E. Parsons, 81, Burlingame, died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1988 in a Burlingame nursing home.
    Mr. Parsons had worked for the city of Burlingame in the municipal power plant and had been a heavy equipment mechanic. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WW II.
    He was born April 17, 1906, in Burlingame, the son of Herbert and Nellie Fisk Parsons. He grew up and spent most of his life in Burlingame.
    He married Marguerite Hoggins on June 15, 1932, in Topeka. She died Nov. 20, 1983.
    Survivors include two brothers: Silas Parsons and Bert Parsons, both of Burlingame; and a sister, Minnie Adolph, Burlingame.
    Services were at the Burlingame Federated Church
