John Parsons' origins are unknown. His first sighting is in 1749 when he and his wife Ann had their son George baptised at Kimpton in Hertfordshire. Altogether John and Ann had seven chidlren baptised at Kimpton between 1749 and 1766. Neither John nor Ann have yet to be traced after the baptism of their youngest known child in 1766.
