    "Boston vital records include the birth of 'John of Mr. Robert & Catharine Nanny born 12th August [1655]" [BVR 51]. As there are no corresponding baptismal or burial records for this John, as there are for the other two sons of this name, and as the day and month of this record are the same as for the son of the same name born in 1656, we conclude that this entry is a clerical error, and a duplicate of the son born in 1656."
