  3.   "Some Descendants of John Moore of Sudbury, Mass." by Ethel Stanwood Bolton, NEHGR, p. 57:366, says that John, b. 3 May 1746, "perhaps" m. 1775 Mary Bruce. This supposition is shown to be incorrect by the Bible of Levi Moore, a son of this John Moore, which contains family records from Asa through John, then Levi, and Levi's children, plus a clear connection to the Gurney family (i.e., he married Mary Gurney, not Mary Bruce).
