Genealogical and Family History of the State of New Hampshire, Vol. 1, p. 136, has Lucy Webster married to Jonathan Merrill, though its article references the birth date of John and names children recorded to John and Lucy. It lists children Nathaniel, Abel, Lucy, Abigail, John, Hannah, Stephen, Enoch and Nathan. MHGR, Vol. 9, p. 64, points out errors in the handling of this family by Savage and Coffin. Among other issues, one claims John is son of Nathaniel¹ and the other says Nathaniel², and there is some intermixing of children of this family with the family of John Merrill and Lydia Haynes.
