Will of John Mallory

Pages 482-83. Will of John Mallory of the Parish of Saint Thomas in the County of Orange, being sick and weak, dated 2 Nov. 1772.
My beloved wife Anne should have the lent of all my estate during her natural life. After her decease to be divided as followeth:
To my son William Mallory £100 current money.
To my son Thomas and Roger Mallory 400 acres in Orange County on Pamunky to be equally divided.
To my son Nathan Mallory 200 acres in Orange County whereon I now dwell.
To my son William Mallory one Negro woman Peg and her child Fanny.
To my son John Mallory, Pat and Will.
To my son Thomas Mallory, one Negro man Dick.
To my son Roger Mallory, two Negroes Alice and Cupid.
To my son Nathan Mallory, two Negroes Amy and Phillis.
To my daughter Elizabeth Dollings, one Negro girl Janey.
To my daughter Ann Smith, one Negro girl Betty.
After my wife's decease my son William Mallory should have the bed whereon I and my wife elith.
After my wife's decease my son Nathan Mallory should have all the stock consisting in horses, sheep, cattle and hogs nd also all my household furniture.
William Mallory and Nathan Mallory my two sons, executors.

22 Sept. 1774. Presented into Court by William Mallory and Nathan Mallory. Proved by William Bell, Gent., and William Smith. Executors with Isaac Davis, Patrick McNeal, John Mallory and Roger Mallory acknowledged their bond in the sum of £2000 current money.
