    JOHN E. MacENTEE Monticello, New York John E. MacEntee of Monticello, former head of support services at the Raleigh Hotel in South Fallsburg and lifelong resident of the area, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at home. He was 62. The son of the late Abraham C. and Loretta Slattery MacEntee, he was born Nov. 13, 1937, in Wallkill. Mr. MacEntee was a member of B.P.O.E. Lodge in Cody, Wyo. Survivors include his wife, Francine Prager MacEntee, at home; two daughters, Lisa McElwain of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Leann MacEntee of Gillette, Wyo.; two brothers, Richard MacEntee of Parish, Fla. and William MacEntee of Monticello; one sister, Loretta Hallenbeck of Fallsburg; six grandchildren, Chelsea, Kylie, Kevyanne, Jonathan, Brandon and Jordan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia MacEntee; and one sister, Geraldine MacEntee Young. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 195 Broadway, Monticello. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Liberty. Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 159 Green St., Kingston, New York 12401 or Hospice of Sullivan County, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, New York 12550. Arrangements were made by VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, Monticello.
