[edit] About John LoweThis John Lowe was originally thought to be the son of Andrew R. Lowe and the John Lowe named in the lawsuit of Amy (Norris) Lowe (Andrew's second wife) vs. the children of his first marriage in Maryland, filed in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. He is more probably a son of John2 Lowe (Andrew R.1) Since this John Lowe named his eldest son Andrew R. Lowe, it is not difficult to conclude that he belongs in this family, and by his age, he can be only a son of John2 Lowe, or Andrew R.1 Lowe. More research is necessary on this line. The 1840 Roane County census has JOHN LOW 220001-20001, which at quick glance would fit with the John Lowe born abt 1805. References
