Facts and Events
Name John B. Leach
Gender Male
Birth[1] 2 Aug 1829 Penobscot, Hancock, ME
Marriage to Lucinda Peakes
Occupation? Mechanic, Shipwright, Mill Man

Builder of at least 2 schooners in the 1850's. It appears that Washington was older than John, but Probate records seem to place John as the oldest son. I think Washington was born in 1830 or 1831. John's home still stands overlooking the entrace to the Pierce's Pond Road. John built this house in the early 1860's. It was sole to Washington & remained in the family until the early 1900's when it passed on to Will Bridges. Washington's farm was taken out of the homestead which was divided up between sons John B. and Francis N.
