    The Alfred Sun Aug. 4, 1920 --
    John F. Langworthy -- was born in Stonington, CT April 5, 1847 and died July 28, 1920. Enlisted in Navy in Sept. 1864; discharged Sept. 1865. November 9, 1870 married Louise Stillman; children: Olin Frank of Sistersville, WV, Howard Sherman of Orchard Park, NY and Quincy Dean of Berkeley, CA. Survived by widow and brother William I. Langworthy.
