    'This will be brief, but enough men have participated in the familytree y-dna group to show us that the two supposed sons of the supposed Capt William Knowlton (1) are not brothers, John (2) and William (3), of Ipswich, MA. We have no proof of either's father or that a Capt Knowlton existed. Certainly no connection to a supposed Richard Knowlden and Elizabeth Cantize. And most specifically no relationship with the Paynton family who lived in the Manor house in the village of Knowlton, Kent, England.'
